Thanks for visiting my work in progress!
This is where I'll keep everyone updated once a week with pictures and news. This is Thanksgiving week Alek is out of school this week May 27 Birmingham tripWow!
I don't know where to start.... Well we spent the night in New Orleans and caught the train on Friday morningMay23. Then when we arriver in Birmingham.This is where it gets .....WOW!
I had the optunity to meet my son I gave up for adoption 23 years ago.I can mot express enough how wonderful experience this has been. I has the honnor and the pleasure of meeting Charles for the first time!
For the first time I felt that i had all the pieces togather at one time,I must admit is was a wonderful experience!!!!

This site is more updated. May 21 Train trip VacationHi everyone,
It is count down time for the trip we leave tomorrow afternoon. We are headed to New Orleans at the
O'Keeffe Plaza Hotel.Then it's up a 5 am and off to the train station. We will update everyone when we get
back. I was sick Sunday and we brought the whole family in to get checked.EVERYONE has strep throat!
So it was off to the drug store for antibiotics! So now I need an extra bag for everyones meds.(ha ha ha)
Now that is done and we are one more day closer to trip day!
Alek played ball last night and caught 4 balls and threw them in and did what he was suppose to do !!!!
YEAH ALEK!! We went to a new restaurant call "Blue Agave" Mexican. It was pretty good!
Today I'm packing and repacking so not to forget anything!Doing laundry and cleaning the house!
It will have to be redone Thursday before we leave anyway!ha ha ha! May 14 UpdateHi Everyone
Today Alek has awards at school. Lexi had hers yesterday at HIPPY. She had perfect attendacnce.
We have alot of updates:
The child I gave up for adoption has contacted me and wants to meet me.That was something exciting!!
we have planed a family vacation to Birmingham Alabama to meet him.His name is Charles ( I named him Kaleb Aaron). I have just found out he had a little girl. WOW i'm a grandma!!!
The trip we have planned is as follows:
Spend the night in New Orleans.
Get up and catch the train to B'ham ( 7 hours and 37 min.)
Then meet Charles in B'ham @ 4:30.
Sat. morning go to the water park( Alabama Adventure.
Not shure waht we are doing Sunday.
Leave and ride the train back to New Orleans And drive home from there Monday.
After the trip schools out and we have th whole summer to play at the pool.
My goal is to teach Lexi to swim.
Daddy has just found out he has prostrate cancer. it is in early stages.
He is having surgery June the 16th @ Tulane hospital, in New Orleans.
The Doctor (Raju) seems optimistic.
Alek and lexi are in T-Ball.Lexi may not play next year.
She dosen't like to wear the helmet for batting.

We have had a lot going on...
Alek has lost his 1St tooth and we excited. The Tooth Fairyleft him $5.00 for his 1st tooth!! Of course Lexi thinks hers is loose too!Poor Baby she dosen't know that she won't loose any till she's 'bout in !st grade she didn't get any 'till she was 1yr old!..ha ha
Alek had his parade in school. It was the kindergatdners and the 3rd graders pulled them. Lexi had a good time .She got excited when Alek came by.I cain't rember the boy's name that pulled alek but I hope to find out today.
Alek is out of school friday and we plan to visit Nana in Houma.
For thouse of you that Know me I have a BOMBSHELL to tell you.....
The child I gave up for adoption has contacted the adoption agencey to contact me
 . I have to get a paper noterized and have 2 counceling sessions then we arrange to meet in Birmingham,Alabama at the agency. i have not gotten the paper noterized as of yet. i did how ever say I did want to meett him. He will be 24 in March.I'm going to get the paper done today.Wish me luck. OH we are not telling the kids yet
 !! We need to see where this goes first. It may be a matter of He just wants to meet me and that's all.Well I think it's exciting no matter what happens!Off to go run errans have a wonderful day!!!

that could be a scery thing after getting use to not having him around all the time.As usual Lexi is the typical lil' sister driving him crazy.We are planning to have Thanksgiving Dinner with Daddy and Mom, This should be interesting!!!
I promise I won't say a word about anything! Mabye I'll stay outa trouble this year! I'm bring my "can" green beans. Dad says he can tell can from fresh, I fooled him a few years ago and every year since I get to bring the Green beans.I look foward to the get togathers it reminds me of my childhood.Well I look foward to the week ahead! Happy Thanksgiving Yall!!!
